Dear AOS Registered Riders,
It is with a heavy heart I’m writing to inform you we are unable to host the ride this coming weekend (May 23) – we are going to postpone until later in the year.
Just this weekend, the health departments called to deliver this gut wrenching news. Even though they recognize we have safety measures in place and are following the current guidelines, the health departments cannot authorize people coming from outside the county at this phase.
Our Team is looking at Labor Day weekend as the proposed date, September 5-6. The good news is we will then be able to include the second day Gravel Grinder ride – and many of your friends and our other supporting riders will be able to come.
I cannot begin to tell you how very disappointed our AOS TEAM is, we are just heartsick. We were looking forward to hosting you all in our great area – where the roads are less traveled and the sun shines 320 days a year. Fall is my favorite time of the year here!
Please stay tuned for more details next week. Remember that we are all in this together and we will use our true grit to hurdle these current obstacles. After all, we don’t call it the Art of Survival for no reason.
Deep gratitude for each one of you, we appreciate your support always but especially through these difficult times.
Blessings,
Linda and Art of Survival TEAM of amazing volunteers
