Vicki Shuck grew up in the Klamath Basin receiving inspiration for her artwork
from the high desert landscape and people from the time she was young. After
receiving a degree in art from Oregon State University in 1970, she has gone on
to enjoy a lifetime of painting, drawing, printmaking, teaching art and illustrating
for books, video and other publications. The subjects of her artwork are varied.
Over the years, the landscape, people in everyday situations, celebrating her
faith and paying homage to her Native roots have been themes of her work.
Exhibiting her art primarily throughout the West and online sites, she lives in
Bend with her husband, artist Gary Vincent.
